We collect and compare subscription prices from dozens of popular services — from streaming platforms like Netflix and Spotify to productivity tools like Microsoft 365 and Google One — across 100+ countries, so you can see exactly how prices change from one region to another.

SubscriptionsCompare was founded by Karolis Toleikis, an expert in global SaaS and digital infrastructure with a deep background in cybersecurity and regional pricing.

As part of Comet Tech Inc., Karolis launched this project to bring transparency to the often-confusing world of international subscription costs. Our Editorial Commitment

While we are part of the Comet Tech family, our data collection is strictly independent. Every price point is verified directly from official service websites using our own VPN infrastructure to ensure 100% accuracy. We have no incentive to misrepresent pricing, and we are committed to keeping this platform a free, unbiased, and human-verified resource.

We collect pricing data directly from each service's official website using automated scripts combined with residential proxies and VPN connections. For each country, our system visits the service's pricing page from a local IP address, extracts the displayed prices, and records them in the local currency.

After automated collection, every data point is manually reviewed by our team to verify accuracy — checking for correct currency conversion, distinguishing between monthly and annual pricing, and confirming plan names match what the service currently offers.

We update prices on a monthly cycle. Exchange rates are refreshed from the European Central Bank daily. When a service announces a price change, we re-scrape that service immediately rather than waiting for the next scheduled update.

All prices are converted to USD using live exchange rates so you can compare across countries at a glance. We always show the original local currency price alongside the converted amount for full transparency.

Understanding Regional Pricing

Many subscription services use a strategy known as regional pricing, where the same product is offered at different price points depending on the country. A Netflix subscription in India, for example, costs a fraction of what it does in Switzerland. This practice reflects differences in local purchasing power, competition, and market strategies.

By making these price differences visible and easy to compare, we want to shed light on how companies approach pricing globally. Our data is updated regularly, converted to USD for easy comparison, and presented in a clear, user-friendly format.
